Feldenkrais Method® in Scottsdale, AZ

Meet Our Feldenkrais Practitioner
Jeanne Hills, PT, GCFP, is the only physical therapist in the Valley who has completed the four-year professional training to become a Guild-Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner®, and she uses Functional Integration® with every physical therapy patient. Because she is dual-licensed, we can accept insurance for Feldenkrais sessions. Jeanne Hills is in-network with Blue Cross, Cigna, Aetna, Optum, United, Humana, and Medicare.
Jeanne’s motto is “Don’t move into more pain!” Physical therapy has a reputation for being painful, but not at our office. Her meditative approach lets muscle tension release and movement increase gradually, always within your comfort level.
Two Ways to Learn
Functional Integration® is a hands-on, one-on-one session in which Jeanne gently guides your body to explore new, easier movement patterns. It is ideal for chronic pain, injuries, and neurological conditions.
Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons are verbally guided movement explorations based on developmental movements, everyday activities, and joint and postural relationships. They start easy and gradually grow in range and complexity. Afterward, participants often feel lighter, taller, and freer.
Who Benefits From Feldenkrais?
The Feldenkrais Method improves posture, coordination, flexibility, and athletic movement for patients of any age. Scottsdale patients use it for chronic back and neck pain, recovery from surgery, balance concerns, and athletic performance. It works hand in hand with the Bonacci Method℠, physical therapy, and therapeutic massage.
“Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself.” — Moshe Feldenkrais
