Have You Tried PRP, Prolo-therapy or Ozone?

Once exclusively for elite athletes and the wealthy —
now available for everyone!

Maybe you have already heard of PRP — Platelet-Rich Plasma — popular because it speeds healing naturally and it really works!

The Procedure: A small amount of your own blood is taken and spun in a centrifuge, separating the red blood cells from the Platelet-Rich Plasma. The plasma is then injected into the area that needs to rapidly heal. The plasma contains high amounts of platelets which release proteins and growth factors that self-heal.

Sound good? Not done yet! We take this procedure and combine it with another procedure called Prolotherapy with Ozone, which magnifies the healing. Prolo is another injection that strengthens integrity in a joint. Ozone is an oxygen gas that ensures the Prolo is getting into every nook and cranny. Ozone often has the added benefit of immediate pain relief!

Think that’s it? Not even close! While you are waiting for your injections, we begin several other modalities. Acupuncture Needles are placed in key points to block pain, a Cold Laser pinpoints the targeted area, Pulse Magnetic Therapy manipulates magnetic fields to bring balance, an Infrared Lamp is used to stimulate healing, while Hot/Cold Therapy prepares the area for the injections.

It’s all included in one great price!

Regenerative Injections Explained…

Regenerative medicine speeds the healing in the damaged area and strengthens the tendons, ligaments and joints. Each technique has its own application.

Prolotherapy – Prolotherapy is often used for strengthening structural integrity of joints. The injection is specifically placed at the attachment of the ligament or tendon to the bone and contains a local anesthetic mixed with dextrose which purposely acts as an irritant. The area becomes inflamed which triggers a focused healing response in the area, and allows the attachment point to gain strength, alleviating weakness and pain.

PRP for Pain – Platelet Rich Plasma injections are popular among elite athletes looking at speedy recovery with sports injuries. The patients own blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge, separating the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma, which contains 3 to 10 times the platelets of normal blood. These platelets release proteins and growth factors that rapidly self-heal. It’s used in areas that are not vascular, like tendons and ligaments, where the massive dose of platelets won’t cause the blood to clot as it normally might.

Prolo with PRP & Ozone – In this triple combo, we add ozone to the mix which injects oxygen into the area to further heighten the healing and reconstruct the damaged, weak area.

Scar Tissue Therapy – A series of injections containing dextrose, ozone and lidocaine stimulate healing blood cells to the area, reducing scar tissue and improving appearance.

Neural Therapy – Trauma can cause disturbances in the autonomic nervous system, disrupting the electrochemical function of tissues and causing chronic pain. Some types of tissues affected by trauma are scars, nerves or a cluster of nerves called ganglions. A series of Neural Therapy injections can often instantly and lastingly resolve chronic pain.

Trigger Point Injections – Trigger points are focal areas of muscle spasm often located in the back and shoulders. They are tender knots or nodules under the skin. Trigger points can irritate the nerves around them and cause referred pain — pain felt in another area of the body — which frequently radiates causing chronic headaches or pain down the arms. Lidocaine mixed with dextrose is injected into the knot, causing the muscle to relax and release, while drawing blood to the area for healing. Cupping can be incorporated into the treatment to draw additional blood to the area, and homeopathic remedies can be used to help decrease pain. Magnesium sulfate is applied to the muscles afterward to relax the area.
